Starting an Apprenticeship at School

Some Australian Apprenticeships can be started and even completed while still at school, and some can form part of a student’s Year 12 Certificate.

Australian School-based Apprenticeships (ASbAs) are a great career option and allow you to start your vocational training, earn a wage and get hands-on experience while finishing school.

Training is delivered by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and can be done for a few hours every week, or less often in blocks.
