Travel vaccinations
If you are planning on travelling overseas, you may need to be vaccinated against serious diseases that are found in some countries.
Which vaccines you need depends on:
- the country – go to Smartraveller.
- time of year
- duration of your trip.
Speak to your family doctor or visit a travel clinic 6 to 12 weeks before you leave to make sure you have enough time to be vaccinated.
