When you can visit
Visits to the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC) are scheduled by accommodation area. Social visits are allowed from Wednesday to Sunday.
AMC visiting times
You will need to know the detainee’s accommodation area in the AMC. You can find this out by asking the person you would like to visit.

Visit outside of scheduled timetable
You may be able to visit outside of the scheduled timetable in exceptional circumstances.
Some examples of exceptional circumstances include if:
- there has been a death in the family
- you are travelling from interstate to visit.
