The Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate works with government and community to develop policy and strategy.
What we do
We aim to achieve positive results for the ACT, its people and for Canberra’s economic growth.
We conduct a wide range of work, including developing strategic advice and support for:
- the Chief Minister
- the directorate’s Ministers
- the Cabinet.
The advice we develop covers:
- policy
- economic and financial matters
- service delivery
- ACT Government policy and communications
- intergovernmental relations.
We also give businesses and individuals access to a range of government services through our website Access Canberra.
