Digital Canberra
We manage digital technology, data and security systems across ACT Government and lead Canberra’s strategy for a connected digital future.
What we do
We support a connected, inclusive and safe digital Canberra.
We are responsible for:
- digital services – providing secure and reliable online services
- technology and data planning – guiding how the ACT chooses and uses digital tools
- data safety and sharing – helping government use data safely and manage risks
- digital health – running the systems that support public hospitals and health services
- designing services with the community – creating digital services that are easy to use and meet real needs
- digital skills in government – helping staff learn and use digital tools and data.
Our structure
Digital Canberra (DCBR) is a new directorate, and its full structure is still being developed.
Bettina Konti is serving as Interim Director-General.
Our minister
We support Rachel Stephen-Smith MLA in her role as the Minister for the Public Service, helping reform government services through better digital systems, governance, access to information and stronger cyber security.
To contact our minister, use the Contact My Minister form.
