Yarralumla Woolshed

Hire a historic woolshed located in Yarralumla, 11 km from Canberra city centre.

About the venue

The Yarralumla Woolshed is a unique piece of Canberra's history. In 1902, good rainfalls broke a severe drought of several years. This lead to greater prosperity for local property owners allowing them to build new farming buildings. Yarralumba Woolshed was one of these, built by Frederick Campbell.

Since the 1970's, the building has become an important Canberra community social venue.

It can be used for:

  • weddings
  • birthdays
  • bush dances
  • Christmas parties
  • small scale musical performances.
