Hear what other businesses have to say
This short video shows people from food businesses in the ACT. They talk about the benefits of Healthier Choices Canberra.
Testimonials from Healthier Choices businesses.
Jordan [Venue Manager, Plumb CafĂ© and Eatery]: “I would recommend other businesses getting on board just because of how easy it was. It was very minimal effort, but the outcome of what we get is just an extra helping hand if you need it as well. They’re always really supportive.”
Mike [Venue Manager, The Alby]: “I think it sort of made us sort of more creatively think, let’s put a healthy choice too, to make sure we have enough healthy options because they are so much more highlighted.”
Dara [Sous Chef, Gungahlin Lakes Club]: “It makes you stop and think about the things that you’re putting in there and gets you to try different things just to see what different clientele like in this moving market.”
Jordan: “The word choice I really like as well. Having those options on the menu rather than, you know, forcing people to have a healthy option all the time is very important.”
John [Chef, Gungahlin Lakes Club]: “People have learned that, you know, healthy food is actually a good thing. My main goal is always to see that, you know, they leave feeling better that the way they were before.”
Jordan: “The changes that we’ve made and implemented here have just been so positive.”
