Refill Canberra: sign your business up

If you're a cafe or business owner, you can join Refill Canberra and put your business on the map.

By allowing people to refill their water bottles for free at your business, you’re helping to reduce plastic waste in the environment and promote a healthier, more hydrated community.

How you can take part

It’s whatever works best for your business, you can choose one of these options:

• over the counter – tip: give their bottle a quick rinse with running tap water before refilling it
• water tap station – tip: wipe down the tap spouts once a day
• water dispensers – tip: clean your dispenser with hot water and detergent at the end of the day
• water jug station – tip: make sure you clean the water jugs in a dishwasher daily.

How to join

Fill in the put us on the map form to get your business added to the map.

You'll get a window sticker and factsheet delivered to you, and your address will be added to the location map to help customers find you.

Getting started is easy

Just pop the Refill Canberra sticker in your front window to let thirsty people know they can refill their water bottle.

Let your customers know you're part of Refill Canberra by posting to social media or putting up a sign or two.

Hygiene

For hygiene reasons, you’re free to decline refilling dirty water bottles.
