Radiation licence for other fields

There are safety prerequisites for radiation licences for specific occupations.

These occupations are listed in the table below.

Occupation	Apparatus	Prerequisites
Borehole loggers	Borehole logging radiation sources	Must have successfully completed in-house training in the use of borehole logging equipment.
Forensic radiographers	Medical general X-ray unit Medical fluoroscopic X-ray unit Computed tomography (CT) scanner	Training, knowledge and or experience in radiation safety relevant in the type of equipment that will be used.
Industrial radiographers	Industrial radiography sealed source apparatus. Industrial radiography X-ray unit	Training, knowledge and or experience in medical physics (for example: accredited by ACPSEM).
Portable nuclear moisture density gauge operators	Portable nuclear moisture density gauges	Training, knowledge and or experience in radiation safety with respect to portable nuclear moisture/density gauges.
Security	Security detection apparatus	Training, knowledge and or experience in radiation safety.
Service technicians Service engineers	Radiation sources	Must supply evidence of training in servicing of radiation apparatus. Training, knowledge and or experience in radiation safety.
