The Expenditure Review Committee of Cabinet (ERC) agreed to the revised Cemeteries and Crematoria Fee Instrument 2025 (No.2).

The proposed fee increases meet expectations in line with WPI increases and in relation to the Cemeteries and Crematoria Regulator determined PCT increases.

Cross-border water supply to Bungendore, Yass and Murrumbateman

Cabinet agreed to provide in-principle agreement for the supply of potable water by the ACT to Bungendore, Yass and Murrumbateman, NSW.

The ACT Government continues to be committed to a holistic, coordinated and community-focused approach to water issues and water management and seeking to improve wellbeing in the domains of environment and climate. In-principle agreement for the supply of potable water by the ACT has potential impacts to the economy domain by signalling ACT Government support for the future development of Bungendore, Yass and Murrumbateman.

Govt Response - Assembly Resolution - Margaret Timpson Park expansion and improvement - May 2025

Cabinet agreed the Minister for Homes and New Suburbs will deliver a Ministerial Statement in response to the 15 May 2025 Assembly Resolution on Margaret Timpson Park expansion and improvement, in the June sitting.

Release of Block 45 Section 54 will support additional community housing and further activate Margaret Timpson Park through integrated built form along with ground floor commercial spaces. Public upgrade works for the park will support improved capacity and usage of the space.

Government Response to Petition – Petition 012-25 - Funding for Fearless Women

Receiving a response to the petition may contribute to feeling among women and girls that the Government takes issues affecting them and services supporting them seriously.
