The Expenditure Review Committee of Cabinet agreed to authorise officials to undertake final settlement negotiation discussions with Calvary Health Care ACT (and related Calvary entities) in relation to the acquisition public hospital lands under the Health Infrastructure Enabling Act 2023.
Investment in health infrastructure will provide for Canberra’s growing community with access to services in modern and sustainable health settings.

Endorsement for the ACT to proceed with the National Statement on First Nations Trade and Investment to MCTI

Cabinet agreed to endorse the Ministerial Council on Trade and Investment’s National Statement on First Nations Trade and Investment which aims to align trade and investment priorities across the nation to enhance economic security for a more resilient, productive, and inclusive economy for all Australians.
The ACT Government’s support of the National Statement on First Nations Trade and Investment will increase access to support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses seeking export and international investment assistance and will contribute overall to the economy of the ACT.
The 2025 Independent review of ACT Government action on climate change

Cabinet noted the Independent Review of ACT Government Action on Climate Change and agreed the Government Response
Climate change will have broad impacts on the wellbeing of people and the natural environment. Implementing the Government Response to the Review will progress the development of climate change policies and programs designed to reduce emissions and adapt to climate change by reducing vulnerability, increasing resilience and enhancing the adaptive capacity of all Canberrans. The ACT’s emissions reductions will contribute to global efforts to mitigate climate change which contributes to reducing the impacts of climate change. Climate adaptation work will build resilience and support reducing impacts on Canberra’s natural environment and on community wellbeing.
