Telehealth

Telehealth appointments are phone or video consultations with your doctor or other healthcare provider. They may be offered instead of a face-to-face appointment.

You can attend your video appointment securely online on your computer, tablet or smartphone.

How to join your appointment

Once your appointment is booked, you will receive a notification to join either by:

• signing in through your MyDHR account
• clicking on a direct link sent either by text message or email.

Joining with myDHR

Follow these steps:

1. Sign into MyDHR either using the MyDHR mobile app on your mobile, or by going to the MyDHR website.
2. On the welcome screen, find your appointment.
3. Click on the 'begin visit' button.
4. You will see more details about your visit, including how join, confirm your appointment. You can also complete your pre-arrival tasks.
5. Once you have completed the tasks, click on 'join video visit'.
6. A Microsoft Teams browser will open for your visit to start. The screen will say 'your provider hasn't started the meeting yet. You'll join automatically'.
7. Once the health professional is ready the appointment will begin.

Email link

Click on 'invitation to join video visit' within the email.

Text message

You will receive a text message with a link to click to join your appointment.
