Return to work workshops
Free workshops where women and gender diverse people learn skills to apply for and get jobs.
The ACT Women’s Return to Work workshops support women and gender diverse people to return to the workforce. The workshops build your job application skills and interview skills.
About the workshops
The free Return to Work workshops provide advice on:
- education options and enrolling in further training opportunities
- how to interpret job ads when you're looking for a new role
- writing a resume and understanding selection criteria
- practicing for your interview.
The workshops are run over 3 weeks (1 session per week). They include guest speakers from community organisations, private industry and government.
The workshops are fun, welcoming and focused on the people attending. Everyone attending gets a chance to join in, learn new things and connect with others. Through activities, group discussions, and quiet thinking time, each participant is supported to take part in a meaningful way.
The next workshops will be held in:

- 5 November
