ACT Government Cyber Security Policy
Summary
The ACT Government Cyber Security Policy derives its authority from the ACT Protective Security Framework.
The purpose of the policy is to:
- develop security awareness, culture and practices in the ACT Public Service
- ensure information and communication technology (ICT) resources and infrastructure protect official information
- ensure all information assets when in electronic form are continuously available and protected
- define standards for the defence against unauthorised access, use, modification, disclosure, damage, or destruction of information assets
- mandate processes to minimise risks associated with disruption or failure of ICT systems.
