CBR2030: ACT’s Strategic Economic Development Framework builds on a decade of transformation to ensure that Canberra remains inclusive, sustainable, and full of opportunity as it continues to grow.  The strategy is designed to ensure Canberra remains a place where people can live well, work flexibly, and stay connected.

What is CBR2030?

CBR2030 is shaping our city's next chapter. It outlines four ambitious missions:

  • Mission 1: A city that continues to give you back time.
  • Mission 2: A climate-ready city, leading Australia’s net zero future.
  • Mission 3: Continued knowledge-based economic growth.
  • Mission 4: Building Canberra’s future today.

CBR2030: ACT’s Strategic Economic Development Framework builds on the previous strategy, CBR Switched On: ACT’s Economic Development Priorities 2022–2025 and the 2016 Statement of Ambition to drive economic growth and make Canberra an even more attractive place to live, work, study, invest in and do business.
