ICRC electricity survey
Summary
The Electricity survey explored the impact of electricity prices on households and what they’re doing to manage, including if they intend to switch electricity plans.
Over 1,400 YourSay Panel members took part in the survey from 21 to 27 August 2023.
We compared results from the 2023 survey with results from 2022 and 2019 to show:
- changes in how confident people are that they are on the best plan for their circumstances
- the most important factors when people choose their electricity plan.
We conducted this research on behalf of the Independent Competition and Regulatory Commission.
