The new Bowes/Bradley connection will:
- Improve accessibility to the area for commuters, CIT staff and students, community and local businesses.
- Transform the town centre into a vibrant, activated space, along with a new pedestrian boulevard linking the new public transport interchange with the Woden town centre.
- Include traffic calming devices and other safety measures such as 10km/hr speed limits for vehicles.
- Include green spaces, seating, and pedestrian, cycle and public amenities.

Between July and September 2021 we consulted the community asking about your priorities for the area. Your feedback was thorough and identified shade, shelter, seating, active travel and landscaping as key factors.
A full report of these findings will assist our contractor in designing and delivering this part of the project, with detailed design to be progressed throughout 2022.
