Homelessness
If you're homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, you can find a safe place to stay, get a free meal, have a shower or do your laundry.
You can get help from services in the ACT that help people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
They can support you with the help you need right now and to plan for the long term.
Housing services
OneLink
OneLink is our current Central Intake Service for people seeking housing and support services.
If you’re experiencing homelessness or are at risk, OneLink is a good place to start. They’ll talk with you about your situation and help you understand your options. They can connect you with the services that best meet your needs.
Onelink can refer you to these services.
Youth Housing Support Services
This is for young people aged 15 to 25 who are homeless or at risk. These services can help you find safe and affordable accommodation.
Street to Home temporary accommodation
This is for people experiencing homelessness. This service also supports access to health care and help with Centrelink and Medicare paperwork.
Crisis accommodation and support services
This is for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of domestic, family or sexual violence.
Service Transition – What You Need to Know
We have appointed the Salvation Army as the new provider of the Central Intake Service. The new service will begin on 1 December 2025.
Until then, OneLink will continue to operate as usual, and support clients. You can continue to contact OneLink by phone, online, and in person.
We’re working with OneLink and the Salvation Army on a smooth transition, so services are not interrupted.
If contact details or phone numbers change, we’ll update our information and let providers and clients know in advance.
