Options for Activities beyond the conclusion of the Asbestos Response Taskforce

Cabinet considered the ongoing management of loose fill asbestos insulation in residential properties through an ongoing loose fill asbestos insulation eradication scheme and associated initiatives. Cabinet agreed the ongoing scheme is to commence at the conclusion of the current loose fill asbestos insulation eradication scheme buyback program. The ongoing scheme will support the effective management and removal of any newly identified affected properties.
