Canberra Raiders Performance Partnership Agreement

Cabinet agreed to the Minister for Economic Development finalising a five-year agreement with the Canberra Raiders, spanning season 2022-2026, inclusive.

Economy: The Canberra Raiders will have a positive impact on the economy by creating economic activity through the delivery and hosting of locally based National Rugby League (NRL), both Men’s and Women’s, sporting content.

ACT Submission - ECCB Committee: Inquiry into environmental volunteerism

Cabinet agreed the ACT Submission to the Standing Committee on Environment, Climate Change and Biodiversity – Inquiry into environmental volunteerism in the ACT.

The ACT Government is providing a submission into the Standing Committee on Environment, Climate Change and Biodiversity (ECCB) – Inquiry into environmental volunteerism in the ACT. There are no direct wellbeing impacts as it is a submission to an inquiry. However, it should be noted that the submission will inform the report provided by the ECCB following the inquiry and that environmental volunteering has many positive effects.

Government Position on Ms Clay’s PMB – Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Amendment Bill 2021 (No 2)

Government Amendments to Road Transport Legislation Amendment Bill 2021

Cabinet agreed: the Minister for Transport and City Services table the Government response to the Standing Committee on Planning, Transport and City Services report in the ACT Legislative Assembly; introduce Government Amendments to the Road Transport Legislation Amendment Bill 2021 in the ACT Legislative Assembly; and the Government position on the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Amendment Bill 2021 (No 2).

The wellbeing impacts of this Submission include the positive impact on the safety for all ACT road users in addressing unsafe and dangerous behaviours on our road network.
