E-PET-083-25 – Keep the R2 and R3 Bus Routes for West Belconnen – Government Response

Cabinet agreed to the Government response to petitions E-PET-083-25 to keep the R2 and R3 bus routes for West Belconnen.

The Wellbeing Impact Assessment found that the R2 and R3 Rapid services will have a positive impact on community wellbeing. The services will improve travel time reliability and access to employment, education, health services and social activities, particularly for people who rely most on public transport, including students, seniors, people with disability and shift workers. Improved public transport services also support reduced congestion and emissions, contributing to broader environmental and economic benefits for the ACT.

Government response - Standing Committee on Social Policy Report No. 3 - Inquiry into E-Petition 007-25: Build a new gym for Lyneham High School

Government Response to E-PET-012-26 - Narrabundah Baseball Fields and Lighting

Cabinet agreed to the Government Response to the petition regarding lighting at the Narrabundah District Playing Fields.

The Narrabundah District Playing Fields lighting system is designed to meet the specialist requirements of baseball and remains compliant with relevant Australian Standards. Lighting performance has been reviewed, contractor‑led maintenance and realignment works have been undertaken, and the system has returned to standard training settings following completion of those works.

Government Response to Assembly Resolution of 26 February 2026 - Pets-Greater access to public transport and facilities
