Road Safety Survey
Summary
More than 1,900 YourSay Panel members took part in a survey about road safety in May 2025. The survey occurred during National Road Safety Week 2025.
The survey explored views on a range of road safety issues including enforcement and compliance with road safety rules, motorcycle safety, seatbelt safety, roadworks safety and learning to drive.
The findings are being used to support development of the next ACT Road Safety Strategy and Action Plan, to be released in 2026. They are also supporting development of road safety campaigns, particularly for the upcoming introduction of seat belt detection and compliance in the ACT later this year.
