We give advice to the ACT Government on policies and initiatives which support better outcomes for older Canberrans.

What we do

We promote positive ageing and tackle ageism and discrimination in the community, policy making and social systems.

We have a workplan to guide the 2021–24 Ministerial Advisory Council on Ageing. It identifies our focus areas as:
