ACT Multi Hazard Advisory Council communique - 2 April 2025

On Wednesday 2 April 2025, the ACT Multi-Hazard Advisory Council were provided an update on the Regional Fire Management Plan and a briefing on compliance regulating building and planning in ‘Bushfire Prone Areas’ from staff of the Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate (EPSDD). Council had a discussion with senior officials from JACS SEMD, EPSDD and ACT ESA on priorities for future work. The Council also discussed and agreed to progress their draft Terms of Reference and draft 2025-26 Workplan.
