The CMTEDD Risk Management Framework and Policy (Framework and Policy) outlines the underlying objectives, structure, and general principles for risk management activities undertaken in Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate (‘Directorate’ or ‘CMTEDD’). This document:

  • sets out the foundations, purpose and objectives of CMTEDD’s Risk Management Framework,
  • states the Directorate’s policy commitment to risk management,
  • explains the whole-of-government (WhoG) risk management attributes and their application in the Directorate,
  • identifies key responsibilities and governance arrangements,
  • outlines CMTEDD’s risk management process and reporting mechanisms, and
  • demonstrates alignment and linkages across governance frameworks to support CMTEDD’s proactive risk management approach.
