ICRC electricity code survey
Summary
The Independent Competition and Regulatory Commission (ICRC) electricity code survey explored how the community chooses energy plans.
More than 1,500 YourSay Panel members took part in the survey from 24 to 30 May 2022.
The ICRC was seeking to understand the community’s:
- experiences of comparing and choosing energy plans
- awareness of changes to the ACT Retail (Electricity and Transparency Comparability) Code.
The Code requires electricity retailers to provide information to help customers choose the best plan available to them.
The ICRC used results from the survey to help communicate with the community about the Code and inform other activities to help customers choose the best electricity plan for them.
