Major events survey
Summary
The Major events survey explored community experiences and preferences for major events and festivals in the ACT.
1,347 YourSay Panel members took part in the survey from 4 and 10 June 2021.
Events ACT wanted to better understand Canberrans’:
- participation in and experience with events
- motivations and barriers to attending events
- views on events for special days such as Canberra Day and Reconciliation Day
- thoughts on how events contribute to the fabric of the ACT.
Events ACT used the survey results to help design, plan and implement future events and event experiences that best meet the needs and preferences of the community.
