Summary
Canberra Health Services implements and monitors mandated minimum staffing levels for nurses and midwives. These ratios ensure we provide:
- safe patient care
- improve patient outcomes
- enhance working conditions for our nursing and midwifery staff.

Canberra Health Services reports monthly compliance for all implemented wards, units, and areas. This information provides an overall facility-wide percentage that includes all ratio requirements. The data reflects information at a point in time.
