Sustainable Household Loans Scheme survey
Summary
The Sustainable Household Loans Scheme survey checked community views on the Sustainable Household Loan Scheme being developed by the ACT Government.
870 YourSay Community Panel members took part in the survey from 15 to 20 December 2020.
The scheme will provide zero interest loans to homeowners to install:
- solar panels
- storage batteries
- efficient electric heating and cooling air conditioners
- electric heat pumps for hot water
- electric vehicles.
This research measured:
- attitudes, barriers, enablers and motivations for uptake
- stage of behaviour change.
The ACT Government used the survey results to inform:
- the development and design of the scheme
- communication and messaging approaches.
