Swimming pool survey
Summary
The Swimming pool survey explored views on regulatory reforms that will require all home swimming pools to have a barrier compliant with modern safety standards.
Over 1,000 YourSay Panel members took part in the survey from 3 to 10 April 2023.
Results from the survey:
- showed a high level of awareness of the reforms across the community
- showed pool owners had a strong interest in the reforms and for more information
- identified what would make it difficult for pool owners to comply with the new requirements, including costs and timeframes.
We used the survey results to inform future communications and engagement with the community on this topic.
