Year 7 Health Survey

The Year 7 Health Survey (Y7HS) is a health and wellbeing survey of Year 7 students in the ACT. We collect data for the survey every year during Term 3.

In public schools, the survey is run alongside the annual School Satisfaction and Climate Survey. Students and schools can opt out of the survey.

For non-government schools we give a survey link to students via a letter to parents.

The results of the Year 7 Survey are reported at a population level.

These findings help us to:

• respond to emerging health issues and
• guide the delivery of future programs and services for the ACT.
