ACT Disability Health Reference Group
What we do
The ACT Disability Health Reference Group (DHRG) was established in September 2024. It gives advice to the ACT Government and the health system in the ACT about the health and wellbeing of people with disability. The DHRG is part of the ACT Government’s commitment under the Disability Health Strategy and its First Action Plan. The DHRG:
- gives advice on issues to do with disability and health
- monitors the progress of the:
- ACT Disability Health Strategy 2024‑2033
- Canberra Health Services Disability Action and Inclusion Plan 2022-2025.
Members
The DHRG includes community members, community organisation members, other members, and ACT Government representatives.
It is co-chaired by a person with disability and by the Executive Branch Manager with responsibility for the ACT Disability Health Strategy 2024-2033, Health and Community Services Directorate.
