Women's Advisory Council for Gender Equity
We give advice to the ACT Government about policies that affect women, girls and gender diverse people.
What we do
We provide a link between the Minister for Women and women, girls and gender diverse people in the ACT.
We help the ACT Government develop and implement policies that are relevant to women, girls and gender diverse people in the ACT.
The ACT Women’s Plan 2016-26 concludes in 2026. For the 2026-28 term we will help to shape the next ACT women’s plan by:
- supporting community consultation
- providing advice to the Minister for Women and ACT Government.
Members
The 2023-25 Ministerial Advisory Council on Women term ended in 2025.
Applications for the 2026-28 Women’s Advisory Council for Gender Equity have closed. Council members will be announced in the first half of 2026.
