About CHARM

The Canberra Health Annual Research Meeting (CHARM) is a flagship annual event that showcases health research in the ACT.

CHARM 2026 will be held on 15-19 June 2026.

This year, the CHARM program features keynotes, practical workshops, panels, and a showcase of ACT health research through oral, poster, and 3-minute pitch presentations.

Program details and overview

Day 1: Celebrating research excellence

  • Opening day started with an engaging keynote presentation
  • Spotlighting our local researchers with the Rising Star Awards
  • Concluded with a CHARM favourite – the poster viewing event

Day 2: Abstract presentations and more

  • Dived into abstract presentations
  • Enjoyed selected keynote presentation, panel discussion and workshop
  • Ended the day with evening presentations on hot clinical topics

Day 3: Abstract presentations and more

  • Concurrent abstract presentations
  • Another round of insightful keynote presentation and panel discussion

Day 4: Dynamic pitches and workshops

  • Experience fast-paced 3-minute pitches
  • Participate in enriching workshops tailored to various interests and skill levels

Day 5: Awards dinner

  • Conclude the CHARM week with a very popular and memorable awards dinner.
