About CHARM
The Canberra Health Annual Research Meeting (CHARM) is a flagship annual event that showcases health research in the ACT.
CHARM 2026
CHARM 2026 will be held on 15-19 June 2026.
This year, the CHARM program features keynotes, practical workshops, panels, and a showcase of ACT health research through oral, poster, and 3-minute pitch presentations.

Day 1: Celebrating research excellence
- Opening day started with an engaging keynote presentation
- Spotlighting our local researchers with the Rising Star Awards
- Concluded with a CHARM favourite – the poster viewing event
Day 2: Abstract presentations and more
- Dived into abstract presentations
- Enjoyed selected keynote presentation, panel discussion and workshop
- Ended the day with evening presentations on hot clinical topics
Day 3: Abstract presentations and more
- Concurrent abstract presentations
- Another round of insightful keynote presentation and panel discussion
Day 4: Dynamic pitches and workshops
- Experience fast-paced 3-minute pitches
- Participate in enriching workshops tailored to various interests and skill levels
Day 5: Awards dinner
- Conclude the CHARM week with a very popular and memorable awards dinner.

The 'Rising Star' Awards:
- celebrate and showcase the achievements of developing health researchers in Canberra.
- foster a positive research culture that supports and acknowledges growth and development in skills and abilities.
