Cabinet agreed to the Chief Minister’s Statement on accessibility of government information.

The Chief Minister’s statement advances the governance and institutions wellbeing domain by requires ACT Government agencies to make progressive improvements in the accessibility of government information. These actions support citizens’ engagement with government, and productivity and innovation through increased use and reuse of government information and data. The transparent nature of publicly accessible information can increase the levels of trust in ACT Government policies and decisions.

Ministerial statement - Government response - SDN Bluebell Childcare Centre and not-for-profit early learning sector—Support Assembly Resolution of 24 September 2025

Cabinet agreed to the Ministerial Statement comprising the Government Response to the Assembly resolution on SDN Bluebell and the not-for-profit early learning sector of 24 September 2025.

The Ministerial statement advances the wellbeing domains of education and life-long learning and governance and institutions. Supporting the provision of high-quality not-for-profit early education in the ACT supports access to important early childhood education for children, and workforce participation by parents and carers. Provision of information to the Legislative Assembly supports its functions and operation.

Active Travel Plan Improvements and Reporting

Cabinet agreed to the Minister for City Services reporting on agreed actions to the Legislative Assembly in response to the Assembly Resolution titled ‘Active Travel Plan – Improvement and reporting’ dated 25 September 2025.

This initiative supports the Active Travel Plan 2024-30 by providing a safer, more accessible and connected city that supports Canberrans to make active, healthy and sustainable transport choices.
