Counting the costs
Summary
The report informs development of more sustainable models of resourcing for the ACT community services sector. It presents a comprehensive picture of the costs involved in delivering community services, the cost pressures experienced by community organisations in the ACT, and ways to ensure funding is sustainable and at levels that meet community needs.
The Counting the Costs Review was commissioned by the ACT Council of Social Service Inc (ACTCOSS). Research for the report was done by the University of New South Wales Social Policy Research Centre. The review was funded by the ACT Government.
