Summary

Every year, we ask YourSay Panel members to share their thoughts on their experience and how they’d like to be involved in future activities. This helps us make the panel more engaging and meaningful.

From 17 to 28 January 2024, over 1,250 members completed the survey.

Results from the survey are compared with past survey results and show:

  • members rated their overall experience on the YourSay Panel an average of 7.0 out of 10, slightly lower than previous years (7.4 in 2023 and 2022)
  • feedback on survey usability was positive with 93% saying surveys are easy to compete, 84% saying the surveys don’t take long to complete and 73% finding the surveys interesting
  • most members think that the number of surveys they are invited to is about right (69%)
  • the main thing that could improve member experience is to provide more timely access to survey results and more information on how feedback helps shape ACT Government decision-making.

Results from the survey will be used to inform how we operate the panel and plan for future surveys and engagements.
