Regional Engagement
We manage ACT’s relationships with the NSW Government and the local regional councils.
What we do
We make sure our engagement with the governments of the Canberra region surrounding the ACT is effective, helping to build:
- opportunities to build planning and services
- stronger relationships between ACT and NSW authorities
- positive results for our community.
We are responsible for regional engagement under the following agreements:
- ACT and NSW Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Regional Collaboration
- MoU between the Canberra Region Joint Organisation (CRJO) and the ACT
- ACT-QPRC Statement of Intent with Queanbeyan Palerang Reg
Strategies, plans and reports
- Canberra Region Economic Development Strategy (CREDS): Developed by the ACT and NSW Government's and the Canberra Region Joint Organisation (CRJO). It identifies common goals for economic development and reinforces our commitment to work together.
