Overview
There are different requirements for each profession when applying for ACT prequalification. Please review the requirements applicable to your profession and complete the relevant application form.
The Prequalification Registrar will assess your application and notify you in writing when your prequalification application is approved.
Prequalification will be approved for three years, and then fully reviewed at that time.

Prequalification terms and conditions
- Depending on the type of prequalification being sought 2nd or 3rd party certification of QA, OHS and EMS may be required.
- Systems are audited for compliance. This is completed by third party auditors or ACT Government Accredited senior auditors.
- Contactor prequalification is awarded within specific financial limits.
- Consultants as required to undertake a financial viability check only.
- Suppliers are required to demonstrate they have implemented the following:
- technical and financial capacity to undertake works
- appropriate QA, OHS and EMS management systems in place such as required
- current and appropriate insurances, licences and mandatory technical qualifications
- compliance with the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry (if relevant).
