Sponsorships

SponsorshipCraft ACT Design Canberra installation

We sponsor a range of organisations and activities that align with our strategic priorities.

Our Sponsorship program aims to foster the development of commercial projects and large-scale activations with national or international significance, through the promotion of community interaction, sustainability, economic growth, and cultural offerings in Canberra.

The Authority embraces the opportunities that both Incoming and Outgoing Sponsorship provides to enhance its reputation and the achievement of its outcomes, but only does so to the extent that the strategic, reputational, and operational risks that could arise from Sponsorships are managed effectively.

We may sponsor through the provision of financial support or “value in kind” support in return for agreed and defined benefits in accordance with our Sponsorship Policy.

Program outcomes

Our Sponsorship program aligns with our 2025 Strategic Plan and the objectives of the City Centre Improvements Levy (CCMIL) to create a compelling sense of place that attracts workers, residents, and visitors to the City Renewal Precinct (Precinct). The program aims to foster vibrant and inclusive spaces that promote community wellbeing, health, and cohesion while making Precinct places safer, more sociable, and more sustainable.
