Dickson streets

We've developed a concept masterplan for improvements to key streets in the Dickson Group Centre.

The plan outlines ways to improve the quality of the area's public spaces, creating greener and more pedestrian-friendly streets.

The concept masterplan identifies future improvements to Challis Street, Antill Street, Woolley Street, Cape Street, Badham Street and Dickson Place. It also defines the character of the streetscapes, design principles and materials.

Better City Streets

The Dickson streets concept masterplan is part of our Better City Streets initiative, which outlines the range of social, health and economic benefits of pedestrian-friendly streets.

These include features that make public spaces easier to move around and more enjoyable to spend time in. This creates opportunities for local shops and, in turn, a more attractive and exciting City Centre for all.

Proposed improvements

Have your say

We're seeking feedback on the proposed improvements to streetscapes within the Dickson Group Centre. We want to hear from the community about the proposed improvements to balance people's needs, focusing on welcoming public spaces and pedestrian-friendly features.

Visit the YourSay project page to submit feedback or join us at an pop-up. The survey closes on 26 February 2025.
